In our original benchmark article, we found that the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti was on average 26% faster than the Radeon RX Vega 64 across a selection of games tested at 1440p resolution. That’s still true here, but there are some important caveats to keep in mind.

The results were very close, but the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti emerged as the winner, averaging 144fps compared to the Radeon RX 5700 XT’s 138fps. However, both cards were able to maintain a consistent 60fps at 1440p resolution with all settings maxed out.

In terms ofgraphics quality, there was little difference between the two cards. Both cards were able to render the game’s lush visuals with ease, though the RTX 2080 Ti did have a slight advantage in some areas. Both cards are more than capable of delivering a great Gears 5 experience.
